Before the first house is built, the first street lamp switched on or the first liter of drinking water flows out of the tap, civil engineering and sewer construction is needed. Sewers for dirty and rainwater, drinking water pipes, access roads, seepage basins, water castles — all this is work that occurs below the surface and remains invisible when done well. Klefenz GmbH carries out underground and sewer construction measures for municipalities, water associations, commercial enterprises and private builders.
As a DVGW certified pipeline builder (GW 301 and GW 381), Klefenz is qualified and certified for drinking water pipeline work. Pressure testing, disinfection and acceptance in accordance with DVGW standards are a matter of course. Klefenz has the necessary equipment for sewer construction — from building plates and trench construction to special machines for tight conditions.
For new construction areas, Klefenz is often the overall contractor for the technical development: sewage and storm sewer, drinking water pipeline, road substructure and asphalt pavement — all in one project, from a single source, with one contact person for the municipality. This saves coordination effort, reduces interface risks and speeds up completion. Klefenz also coordinates with other supply providers (electricity, telecommunications) who are active in the construction field in parallel.

Klefenz has worked in civil engineering and sewer construction in the Waldshut district for decades and knows the regional building authorities, water associations and supply structures from hundreds of projects. This local knowledge pays off — in smooth approval processes, short response times and a network that also helps with short-term requirements. Talk to us
