As part of the municipal broadband expansion program, the municipality of Wittlekofen commissioned Klefenz GmbH to install the fibre-optic empty conduits.
The special feature: Wittlekofen is a small village with a high proportion of unpaved roads and agricultural land. Here, Klefenz preferred the cable plough, which can be used quickly and gently on these surfaces.
On the paved local roads, classic slotting or milling was carried out and the empty conduits were laid in a protective tube network. All routes were documented using GPS references so that the future network operator knows the exact location of the pipe systems. Klefenz handed over the complete inventory documentation, including measurement reports, to the municipal administration.
The broadband project was a milestone for Wittlekofen.
